Heading west on the Sunset Limited

They don't call it the Sunset Limited for nothing!  I finished my loop of the country by taking the train from New Orleans to Los Angeles, which meant crossing a whole lotta Texas.  By the time I arrived back at Union Station on the 4th of July, I had tallied up 7,776 miles circumnavigating the US of A.  Is that synchronistic or what?!
